The Life and Adventures of Charles Dickens

To mark the bicentenary of his birth, some students of 4th ESO pieced together the story of Charles Dicken’s life and recorded their story. This way they reviewed the past simple and learnt about one of the greatest storytellers of all time.

Episodes:

Many of Dicken’s novels have been adapted for the stage and there have been at least 180 film and TV adaptations of his work. Many of his works, including Oliver Twist and Nicholas Nickleby were originally published in a serial format, with a new part of the book being published each month. Dickens often wrote the episodes without knowing what would happen next. Many of his characters and stories were based on people and events in his own life.
